I know I just joined, and I was so excited, but… I just don’t know if I really fit in. Dx I am still gonna think about it, but hopefully by tomorrow I will know whether I keep both, none, or one. ;-; ))
It shook a little, waking up the dozing kitten on its fibers. Marie blinked and yawned, stretching and nearly clawing the carpet before realizing where she was. “Oh! Sorry, Monsieur! I almost got you.” She giggled, then looked around. She was… she was in New York! She nearly fell off the carpet in surprise, tumbling to her feet and gazing around in awe. Now, she just had to find Oliver. And hopefully he knew where to get some food!
Blahh, I need to manage my time better. D: ))
To her surprise, it jumped under her, sending her sprawling. Pouting, eyes narrowing in frustration, she pinned the carpet down with her gaze. “Oh, come now Monsieur Carpet. I need to get to New York!” She sweetened her expression into a smile, sidling up to it once more. “Will you help me please?” Her smile widened when it finally calmed down, and she hopped happily on to it. “Thank you, Monsieur! Thank you! Now, let’s go!” She giggled nervously as it rose up in to the air, keeping low on the carpet as it began to speed away.
Ooh, the Genie? I’ll try to find him, for sure! -jumps excitedly- I’ll go looking now!
Not yet. -pouts- But I am thinking… maybe someone with magic can get me there? I heard there are lots of magical people around. -fidgets, obviously antsy- I want to get there soon!
